Procedure counts, not promises
These figures describe reported procedures, not individual patients, outcomes, or recommendations. They offer a useful snapshot of the treatments people sought in 2024, while a private consultation remains the right setting to discuss whether any option fits a particular person.
All six figures below are drawn from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ 2024 procedural statistics. Each statistic links directly to the relevant source so it can be checked and cited in context.

What the numbers can, and cannot, tell you
The reported count for a treatment indicates how often it was performed within the source’s data collection, not who is an appropriate candidate or what result a person should expect. Procedure categories can also change over time. For example, the 2024 report tracked hyaluronic-acid lip fillers as a distinct category for the first time, so it should not be added to the broader lip-augmentation figure.
The Institute uses these statistics as a reference point, not a substitute for medical advice. Treatment choice should account for anatomy, skin characteristics, health history, recovery preferences, and realistic goals.
